Geoff established GLP with a vision for capturing the aesthetic of built environments through professional photography. A technical master of the craft, his artistry represents spaces in visual alignment with their architectural intent.
As an architect, he practiced at Brand + Allen, Kirksey, and Vail Architecture Group before launching GLP. Geoff holds a Bachelor of Architecture with a photography minor from the Hines College of Architecture at the University of Houston, along with an FAA Section 107 Aerial Drone Pilot License.
Geoff’s photos are published in Architectural Record, Texas Architect, Cite, The Architect’s Newspaper, Architect Magazine, Arch Daily, and countless other publications and books. His images are regularly viewable in marketing the City of Houston by Visit Houston, the Greater Houston Partnership, and at Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH).
True to his architectural aesthetic, Geoff resides in a Lake|Flato home in the heart of Houston. A Canadian-born Texan, Geoff proudly calls Houston home and faithfully supports Team USA, USMNT, Canada Soccer Association, Houston Dynamo FC, Houston Astros, Houston Texans, and other local sports teams.

Jennifer Murray
PRINCIPAL / Assoc. AIA
Jennifer optimizes organizations for maximum strategic growth. She aids GLP clients in representing their years of hard work on architectural and construction projects with the highest quality professional photography available. She provides strategic internal and external business development and is conducting architectural research on photographic representation to advance the architectural community.
Photo shoots combine her favorite art form, photography, with her enduring passion for architecture. Continually seeing the cutting-edge architectural craftsmanship produced by GLP clients ensures early before-dawn building shoots are a pleasure.
Jennifer met Geoff as studiomates at the Hines College of Architecture. Since then, her career has focused on marketing communication, leadership, and entrepreneurial business. Highlights include teaching leadership and creativity at Rice University, launching a nonprofit to national CNN Heroes prominence, and more localized impact as a nonprofit executive.
Jennifer holds advanced degrees in journalism, business, architecture, and leadership. She’s part Rice Owl, Houston Cougar, and William & Mary Tribe. She also teaches MBAs, lives at the Brava Downtown, is a native Houstonian, and an alumna of Leadership Houston.
Joe Perello
UAS DRONE OPERATOR
Joe is a highly adept FAA-licensed drone pilot with experience shooting aerial photography in interior and exterior spaces and challenging atypical environments. If it can be shot, Joe can capture the aerial footage needed.
Because of his drone expertise, Joe is sought after to obtain footage less experienced operators (should or) will pass on. He travels the region extensively capturing high-end architectural client images. Joe is also resourceful in obtaining exemption approvals required to operate drones in restricted airspace.
Joe has an AEC background as an Assistant Superintendent, Project Engineer, and a Project Manager at O’Donnell/Snider Construction, providing clients confidence in his ability to knowledgeably secure the footage needed.
A decorated U.S. Army Veteran, Joe served tours in South Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He is a trained repairer/maintainer of the AH-64 Helicopter, UH-60 Blackhawk, and CH-47 Chinook with experience working in combat theater. Post military, Joe attended the University of Houston College of Technology earning a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management cum laude. He now lives in Nacogdoches with his wife and children.
Cortney Jones

Cortney provides AEC corporate headshots and event photography for G. Lyon Photography clients throughout North America. Her background is rich in photographic storytelling that captures expressions and moments that showcase people and companies authentically, and at their best.
An alumna of Texas Tech University College of Media and Communication, Cortney earned a Bachelor of Arts in Photocommunication with a minor in Business Administration and a Texas Teaching Certificate. Her expertise behind the camera matches the ease she brings to people in front of the camera. Cortney honed the people skills evident in her photoshoots working over 11-years with Conroe ISD as an elementary teacher where people are diverse and situations require continual agility.
Cortney is a native Texan, born and raised in Spring, Texas, part of the Greater Houston Area. A workout and cycling enthusiast, she is married to an AEC professional with two little boys and a rescue pup.
